It’s not the end of the world if you burn the bacon. But if you burn the business …

You can’t just throw water on a grease fire. You need to eliminate the fuel source and smother the flames in order to get a kitchen fire under control. American Fire Prevention kitchen fire suppression installation and service maintains your system so it acts as it is designed — effectively and reliably and in compliance with the UL 300 standard.

American Fire Prevention will design, install and routinely inspect your kitchen fire suppression system.

We will service only kitchen systems that are UL 300 compliant because a dry chemical system or a system that does not comply with the UL 300 standard may pose an immediate and serious safety concern for your establishment.

Typical installation locations include:

Regulatory Requirements:  UL 300

All kitchen fire suppression systems manufactured after 1994 must comply with the UL 300 standard to account for increased commercial cooking times and temperatures. Dry chemical kitchen systems have been replaced with wet systems to accommodate hotter and longer cooking times.

Any fire suppression systems that due for there required 12-year hydro testing and have a manufacture date before 1994, please call us to discuss a system up-grade. We have found that a majority of Insurance companies no longer offer coverage for noncompliant fire systems older than 1994.

Don’t let a kitchen fire become a recipe for disaster.
